General Mental Health Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment
Dr. Lambert is an expert in evaluation of psychiatric conditions and providing clarify when there is confusion in psychiatric diagnoses. Dr. Lambert is an expert of identifying causes/reasons for psychiatric concerns and addressing them. Dr. Lambert strives for the most psychiatric benefit with the least amount of medication burden, if medications are needed at all.
Therapy (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
Dr. Lambert greatly values being able to actively work with patients on mental health concerns that are impacting their daily life. The mind/ body are deeply connected and affect the wellness of each other. Areas of great interest include life transitions (death, sudden life changes), self esteem, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, psychiatric impact of medical illness.
Addiction Treatment (Alcohol, Opiates, Benzodiazepines, Stimulants, Etc...)
Dr. Lambert has assisted many patients with substance abuse concerns including but not limited to: Alcohol, Opiates, Cannabis. This includes assistance with outpatient detox, referral for inpatient detox, and follow up from inpatient detox. Dr. Lambert is not a Suboxone/Methadone provider at this time.
